Willow Lake is located in near serene, historic downtown Mankato, Kansas.​ Our 3-story home was built in 1902. Meier and Railsback had the opportunity to rent the home in 2015 and plan to open the bed and breakfast in September of this year. This beautiful home features original woodwork, traditional decor, and beautiful gardens surrounding the property. Our vision for Willow Lake Bed & Breakfast is to:

1)  Provide lodging to individuals visiting Mankato and Jewell County which has a more elegant ambience than the environment found at the local hotels;

2)  Provide a location for small weddings (outside garden), showers, and other social events which are attended by 75 or fewer people;

3)  Offer “afternoon tea” on specific days of the week for people; and

4)  Offer community citizens and people staying at other local lodging establishments a breakfast location alternative.
